Ashlyn Nikles
(She/Her/Hers)
President
Ashlyn is a senior at UMD majoring in Neurobiology & Physiology, and she is also a Peer Leader through the Health Promotion & Wellness Services of the University Health Center. Ashlyn decided to become a part of Sex Week because she is passionate about pleasure-based and intersectional sex education, and she hopes to destigmatize conversations surrounding sexual health and sex positivity on UMD’s campus and beyond. She can't wait to see you all at Sex Week 2021!
Breannah Goodman

Vice President
Breannah is a senior Family Science major and Human Development minor. She is also a current Peer Leader through the University Health Center. She joined Sex Week because she is very passionate about promoting positive, pleasure-based, and inclusive sexual health education across campus!
Parisa Rahbar

Promotional Materials Expert
Parisa is a senior Community Health major. She was a Sexual Health Peer Educator with the University Health Center last year. She is a fierce advocate for fostering inclusive sex-positive spaces and making comprehensive sex education accessible to all.
Michael Schuler

General Body Member
Michael is a senior Public Health major. He is a general body member for UMD sex week and a PEER educator at the University Health Center. He is passionate about LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sex education and creating sex positive and affirming spaces on college campuses.
Cecelia Hough

General Body Member
Cecelia is a sophomore History major with a concentration in women, gender, and sexuality and a minor in LGBTQ+ Studies. She joined Sex Week because she believes sexual health education is lacking in schools and would like to improve that at UMD! She also wants to make sexual health education more accessible for the LGBTQ+ community as well as normalize conversations about sex for everyone.
Jenna Beckwith Messman (She/Her/Hers)
Staff Advisor
Jenna is the Sexual Health Program Coordinator in the University Health Center and a doctoral student in the Family Science program in the School of Public Health. Jenna is proud to be a part of Sex Week and is an avid advocate for comprehensive sexual health education and LGBT+ rights.
Diana Tsuji
(She/Her/Hers)
General Body Member
Diana is a graduate student in the Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice and Policy program. She is currently working for a non-profit pharmacology association while finishing her degree. Diana is passionate about queer sexual health/wellness, racial equity, and community outreach. She is currently based in Baltimore City.
Kenyatta Thomas

Social Media Chair
Kenyatta is a junior Public Policy major. They are passionate about sex education becoming more accessible and inclusive, especially to those of minority backgrounds, and want to help create a world where discussing sex and sexual health is not taboo.
